Hi, I’m Ace!
I’m a typical Frenchie boy with a huge personality, plenty of sass, and lots of love to give. I love playing, learning new things, and will do almost anything for a tasty treat! Once I’ve made friends with someone, I’m incredibly affectionate and enjoy nothing more than being close to my people, whether we’re out having fun or curled up on the sofa for cuddles. I’m looking for a home that will embrace my cheeky Frenchie charm, continue my training, and give me the love and companionship I thrive on.
I am currently in a one of St Francis lovely foster homes who have described me as the best boy they’ve ever had!

Car Travel: Travels well and enjoys going on adventures
Recall: No known off-lead experience. Recall training will need to be built up gradually and safely

People:
Ace can be wary of unfamiliar people and has a sensitive side. He is currently working on greeting people appropriately both out on walks and when visitors enter the home. At times, he may lunge towards unfamiliar people, so his adopters will need to be committed to continuing his training and helping him build confidence around new people and situations.
Dogs:
Ace has previously lived with other dogs and is happy to have doggy friends when out and about. However, we feel he would be happiest as the only dog in the home where he can enjoy all of the attention for himself.

Exercise and Lifestyle
Exercise Requirements: Moderate
Daily exercise needs: Around 45–60 minutes of exercise per day, alongside opportunities for play, enrichment, and training.
Favourite activities: Cuddling on the sofa, spending time with his people, walks, play sessions, enrichment activities, and learning new skills.
Public Places
Cafés, pubs, shops, town centres: Ace can find busy environments challenging due to his uncertainty around unfamiliar people. He would benefit from adopters who can continue to build his confidence and advocate for him in these situations.

Medical
Neutering: Ace is currently entire and will require neutering in the future as advised by the rescue and veterinary team.
Veterinary care: No concerns reported. As with all rescue dogs, adopters should ensure he is registered with a veterinary practice and attends routine health checks.
Grooming: Ace is happy to be handled and enjoys the comfort and attention that comes with regular care and grooming.
