The Trustees are very pleased to announce that Adel Burnett has been appointed as our new Head of Operations at St Francis. Adel is currently Head of Animal Welfare at Raystede Centre for Animal Welfare in East Sussex.
Adel studied Animal Care and Welfare at Plumpton College and joined Raystede as an Animal Care Assistant. She progressed into Management and is responsible for best practice in all welfare activities as well as links to the wider animal welfare community. She has overseas experience and is a trained NVQ Assessor.
Adel says, “I am delighted to be joining St Francis Home for Animals and I am looking forward to working with everyone in the Charity to continue to improve the lives of the dogs we all care so much about”.
Adel will start at the Home on 15th July 2019.
