We have had a fantastic On Line Dog Show in April which we hope has helped you all feel connected during the Lockdown as well as having some fun too! Thanks to all of our wonderful supporters who joined in, it was fantastic to see so many of you enter your gorgeous dogs. They are all winners!!
We were delighted to have Amin O’Carroll as our judge who has a wealth of experience showing his own dogs and also owns Dogroom. By Amin’s own admission it was a very hard job choosing the winners each day. Each category winner went forward for the Best in Show and Reserve Best in Show titles.
Congratulations to Olly the handsome Dalmatian for winning the Best In Show and to Copper the super cute terrier for winning Reserve Best in Show. Olly also won the fantastic first prize of a photo shoot with the super talented Grace Shrewsbury from Photography With Grace, which will also include a framed print of Olly’s favourite pic! Hopefully it won’t be long before the photo shoot can go ahead as Lockdown restrictions may be lifted in the next few weeks.
Olly’s favourite pic will also feature on our future new St Francis website. We are also asking anyone who has rehomed a St Francis Dog over the years to send us a photo of their dog as our new website will have a dedicated montage of as many St Francis dogs as possible. We have had quite a lot posted on our Facebook page already, but we would love more!

Even during the lockdown Trustees have been very busy moving forward with the plans for the redevelopment of the site. A full update will be available soon. Exciting times ahead!
