Success Story – Parsley

The story of Parsley was one that was followed by many of our supporters. He was part of a litter of 3 puppies that came into the Centre in a very poor medical condition and they all needed extensive veterinary treatment to heal their poorly skin.

A little while later, as their general health improved, we noticed that poor Parsley was struggling in some aspects and whilst he was always a HAPPY lad, he struggled with some mobility issues.

We launched an appeal for him to see a canine neurology specialist who diagnosed him with a life limiting condition which was very sad. But then came the appeal to find him the right home, who could accommodate his medical needs but also understand that Parsley would not live as long as normal healthy dogs.

With the help of social media, we found that home and we are pleased to say that he is living an amazing life. He has even managed to learn to swim. We keep in regular contact with his new owners and he (and they) are doing so very well.

So against the odds, St Francis, our supporters and his new owners have managed together to find an amazing happy ending for this wonderful boy. He has recently celebrated his 1st birthday!
